Targets and Touches will only have players’ six most recent games, regardless if they were active or on a bye. The data will be in descending order of games played. NFC will debut on Tuesday, and the AFC will be posted on Wednesday.

All targets and touches data is compiled from Pro Football Reference. Cornerback data is sourced via Pro Football Focus.

Note: I decided to include more players into the Targets and Touches format for the rest of the season. For simplicity, cornerbacks who see at least 50 percent of the prior week’s snaps will be included.

CBs Thrown At: Robert Alford  6, 4, 6, 9, 5, 10 (3-51, 2-15, 2-15, 7-67-1, 4-30, 8-127-2), Desmond Trufant 7, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7 (3-39-1, 4-40, 5-54, 3-44, 4-51, 6-56-1), Brian Poole 8, 1, 2, 3, 8, 6 (5-62-1, 1-7, 2-22, 0-0, 7-29-1, 2-20)

Observations: Austin Hooper was targeted six times and went for 46 yards and a touchdown while taking over for the injured Jacob Tamme. It’s hard to rely on the Falcons’ TE position for consistent fantasy production with Devonta Freeman, Mohamed Sanu and Julio Jones representing 62 percent of their target share. However, Hooper could make for a TE2 streaming candidate if Tamme is out and you’re desperate.

Observations: Greg Olsen, Ted Ginn and Kelvin Benjamin each saw seven targets against the Rams. Greg Olsen was the only pass-catcher to score a touchdown as Cam Newton struggled on the road. Things may not get easier against the Chiefs in Week 10.

Chicago Bears – Bye Week

Targets: Alshon Jeffery (5, 6, 13, 11, 8, 0), Zach Miller (3, 8, 10, 5, 10, 0), Cameron Meredith (5, 12, 15, 2, 2, 0), Eddie Royal (7, 9, 6, 0, 0, 0), Kevin White (9, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Jordan Howard (4, 3, 4, 1, 4, 0), Jeremy Langford (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Josh Bellamy (0, 1, 0, 4, 2, 0), Logan Paulsen (3, 1, 0, 0, 2, 0), Ka’Deem Carey (0, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Deonte Thompson (0, 0, 0, 2, 1, 0), Ben Braunecker (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

Carries: Ezekiel Elliott (23, 14, 28, 0, 22, 18), Alfred Morris (7, 6, 3, 0, 3, 17), Dak Prescott (5, 8, 1, 0, 7, 4), Lucky Whitehead (1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1), Lance Dunbar (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Mark Sanchez (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Cole Beasley (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Brandon Carr 7, 5, 4, 2, 9, 4 (7-81, 4-56-1, 1-9, 2-39, 6-52, 1-9),  Orlando Scandrick 4, 6 (2-15, 4-40)

Observations: A week after being targeted 14 times, Dez Bryant saw just four targets against the Browns. Joe Haden shadowing most of the game may have had something to do with it. Over the last four weeks, Jason Witten leads the Cowboys with 20 percent target share. Ezekiel Elliott could’ve had a much bigger game, but the Cowboys chose to give Alfred Morris with the shellacking they were putting on the Browns.

Detroit Lions

Targets: Golden Tate (4, 5, 10, 12, 9, 12), Marvin Jones (7, 5, 6, 5, 7, 5), Anquan Boldin (8, 4, 9, 4, 3, 4), Theo Riddick (7, 6, 0, 0, 11, 3), Eric Ebron (5, 0, 0, 0, 10, 8), Andre Roberts (1, 1, 2, 2, 0, 1), Zach Zenner (1, 2, 2, 2, 1, 0), Ameer Abdullah (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Clay Harbor (0, 0, 1, 2, 0, 0), Cole Wick (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Dwayne Washington (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Justin Forsett (0, 0, 1, 2, 0, 0), Khari Lee (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Mike Burton (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

Carries: Theo Riddick (11, 11, 0, 0, 11, 14), Zach Zenner (3, 7, 14, 9, 3, 0), Dwayne Washington (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 10), Matthew Stafford (2, 6, 5, 2, 0, 0), Ameer Abdullah (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Justin Forsett (0, 0, 5, 8, 0, 0), Golden Tate (0, 3, 1, 0, 0, 1), Marvin Jones (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Anquan Boldin (1, 0, 4, 2, 0, 1), Marvin Jones (0, 1, 2, 2, 1, 0), Theo Riddick (1, 2, 0, 0, 1, 0), Golden Tate (0, 1, 0, 3, 0, 1), Eric Ebron (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Ameer Abdullah (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Andre Roberts (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Nevin Lawson 5, 5, 2, 5, 5, 4 (4-25-1, 2-25, 2-17, 3-17, 2-33, 3-15), Quandre Diggs 5, 3, 3, 2, 4 (5-65-1, 3-12, 3-26, 2-22, 3-23), Johnson Bademosi 5, 5, 8 (5-72, 3-26, 5-72)

Observations: Marvin Jones looked poised for a massive year to begin the season, but his targets and production have tapered off. Golden Tate has 29 percent of the Lions’ target share in the last four weeks, including 31 percent of their air yards, second best on the team. (Read Josh Hermseyers’s introduction to air yards at RotoViz here.) With an average depth of target (aDOT) of 7.0 yards, Tate should remain a strong PPR play.

Green Bay Packers

Targets: Jordy Nelson (0, 13, 7, 4, 9, 13), Davante Adams (0, 8, 3, 16, 14, 8), Randall Cobb (0, 11, 11, 15, 0, 2), Ty Montgomery (0, 0, 12, 13, 0, 3), Richard Rodgers (0, 5, 3, 1, 0, 10), Jeff Janis (0, 0, 2, 5, 4, 2), Jared Cook (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), James Starks (0, 6, 0, 0, 0, 0), Eddie Lacy (0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0), Trevor Davis (0, 0, 0, 0, 4, 0), Geronimo Allison (0, 0, 0, 0, 4, 1), Aaron Ripkowski (0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1), Justin Perillo (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 2), Jared Abbrederis (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0), Knile Davis (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Don Jackson (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Jordy Nelson (0, 2, 0, 2, 3, 2), Randall Cobb (0, 0, 2, 4, 0, 2), Ty Montgomery (0, 0, 3, 7, 0, 0), Davante Adams (0, 1, 0, 2, 2, 1), Richard Rodgers (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 1), Geronimo Allison (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1), Jeff Janis (0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0), Trevor Davis (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Aaron Ripkowski (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Jared Cook (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At:  Ladarius Gunter 5, 2, 6, 9, 6, 7 (2-0, 0-0, 6-119-2, 3-33, 3-30, 7-107-1), Micah Hyde 1 (1-17), Quinten Rollins 4 (2-22)

Observations: Randall Cobb was surprisingly active in this game, but played just 23 snaps. He managed to catch both of his targets, with one of them going for a touchdown. Ty Montgomery ran seven times for 53 yards but saw just three targets. He should’ve had a much bigger role in the offense, but he was apparently on a snap count after being sick the prior week. Davante Adams saw a major dip in targets compared to the last two weeks. His role may begin to decrease as Cobb gains his health back.

Los Angeles Rams

Targets: Tavon Austin (6, 10, 4, 15, 0, 2), Kenny Britt (4, 6, 8, 8, 0, 6), Lance Kendricks (7, 3, 8, 9, 0, 12), Brian Quick (6, 4, 5, 9, 0, 6), Todd Gurley (5, 5, 4, 7, 0, 5), Tyler Higbee (1, 1, 0, 1, 0, 7), Benny Cunningham (0, 0, 2, 1, 0, 6), Bradley Marquez (0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 1), Malcolm Brown (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Michael Thomas (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Pharoh Cooper (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1)

Carries: Todd Gurley (19, 23, 14, 15, 0, 12), Case Keenum (3, 0, 3, 1, 0, 0), Tavon Austin (1, 3, 3, 1, 0, 1), Benny Cunningham (0, 0, 2, 3, 0, 3), Malcolm Brown (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 1), Bradley Marquez (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Todd Gurley (1, 3, 3, 1, 0, 0), Tavon Austin (1, 3, 0, 2, 0, 0), Kenny Britt (0, 0, 3, 0, 0, 2), Lance Kendricks (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 2), Brian Quick (1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 1), Tyler Higbee (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Benny Cunningham (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Bradley Marquez (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Michael Thomas (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: Todd Gurley (3, 6, 4, 1, 0, 1), Tavon Austin (0, 2, 1, 0, 0, 0), Case Keenum (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0), Benny Cunningham (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Lamarcus Joyner  12, 3, 1, 10, 7, 4 (9-76, 2-25, 1-12, 7-66, 4-12, 3-50),  E.J. Gaines 7, 7, 6, 10, 8 (6-55, 3-35-1, 6-55-2, 6-80, 5-70), Trumaine Johnson 9 (4-40)

Observations: It’s difficult to get excited about any offensive piece on such a poor team. Todd Gurley hasn’t topped 60 rushing yards in six of their eight games this season. Kenny Britt has been one of the bright spots on this offense. Britt has been a reliable WR3 with 75 yards or a touchdown in four of their last five games. The Rams have the Jets in Week 10, a defense that has given up 16 passing touchdowns and 7.1 yards per attempt.

In week 9, he wasn’t on the injury report and is target share was 35 percent. Diggs was the obvious focal point under Pat Shurmur. He could be back in the WR1 realm, but he will face Josh Norman in Week 10.

Observations: Michael Thomas had a strong showing, going for 5-73-2 against the 49ers. Thomas has been the most reliable pass-catcher for the Saints. He leads the Saints targets, receptions, tied with Brandin Cooks with five touchdowns and has just 23 less receiving yards than Cooks. Tim Hightower and Mark Ingram saw similar snap counts at 43 percent and 38 percent. Hightower out-carried Ingram 23-to-15, but Ingram had the big day with 158 rushing yards and two total touchdowns. It will be interesting to see if this RBBC will continue throughout the rest of the season.

Observations: The Giants may have entered an RBBC approach with Rashad Jennings and Paul Perkins. Jennings out-snapped Person 37-to-22, but each RB saw 11 carries. Perkins is worthy of a waiver wire claim if you’re in need of an RB.

Philadelphia Eagles

Observations: Once again, Darren Sproles trounced Ryan Matthews in snaps. Sproles out-snapped Matthews 60-to-8. Sproles saw double-digit carries for the second week in a row. The Eagles take on the Falcons in Week 10, a team that has allowed a 49.5 percent rush success rate over the last 12 months — third-worst in the league.

San Francisco 49ers

Targets: Jeremy Kerley (9, 13, 7, 5, 0, 6), Quinton Patton (3, 2, 7, 4, 0, 9), Torrey Smith (2, 1, 7, 2, 0, 3), Garrett Celek (5, 6, 0, 3, 0, 6), Vance McDonald (0, 0, 2, 6, 0, 6), Carlos Hyde (1, 6, 0, 0, 0, 0), Shaun Draughn (1, 0, 1, 7, 0, 0), DuJuan Harris (0, 0, 0, 2, 0, 6), Aaron Burbridge (2, 0, 0, 2, 0, 2), Rod Streater (0, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Blake Bell (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Mike Davis (0, 0, 3, 0, 0, 1)

Observations:  DuJuan Harris was named the starter once Carlos Hyde was ruled inactive. He didn’t disappoint as he played 83 percent of the snaps while accumulating 142 total yards and scoring one touchdown. This production could be short lived once Carlos Hyde is healthy.

Seattle Seahawks

Targets: Doug Baldwin (4, 0, 5, 9, 6, 6), Jimmy Graham (8, 0, 9, 10, 5, 8), Jermaine Kearse (3, 0, 5, 4, 7, 4), Tyler Lockett (3, 0, 5, 2, 4, 2), Christine Michael (6, 0, 3, 3, 2, 0), Paul Richardson (1, 0, 0, 2, 3, 1), Luke Willson (3, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0), C.J. Observations: It was an odd game with the Seahawks giving their RBs eight total carries while totaling 10 yards on the ground. C.J. Prosise saw expanded playing time as he out-snapped Christine Michael 26-to-18. Jimmy Graham is shaping up to be the most reliable pass-catcher on this offense with 24 percent target share and 29 percent of the Seahawks’ air yards in the last four weeks.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Targets: Mike Evans (11, 12, 0, 13, 11, 17), Adam Humphries (4, 2, 0, 3, 4, 7), Cameron Brate (8, 3, 0, 3, 5, 6), Vincent Jackson (5, 5, 0, 0, 0, 0), Charles Sims (3, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Russell Shepard (0, 0, 0, 6, 3, 0), Jacquizz Rodgers (2, 6, 0, 1, 1, 0), Cecil Shorts (0, 0, 0, 0, 4, 4), Antone Smith (0, 0, 0, 3, 2, 4), Brandon Myers (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Doug Martin (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Peyton Barber (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 5), Alan Cross (1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Austin Seferian-Jenkins (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Freddie Martino (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Mike James (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3), Luke Stocker (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Vernon Hargreaves 7, 6, 8, 4, 16, 11 (4-44, 5-48, 6-70, 2-16, 10-173, 9-125-1), Brent Grimes 2, 12, 2, 5, 7, 8 (1-8, 6-88-1, 1-13, 3-32, 3-25, 5-116-1)

Observations: After Mike Evans, it’s hard to trust any pass-catcher in Tampa’s offense. Evans has 54 percent of Tampa’s air yards in the four weeks, along with 38 percent targets share in that same span. Peyton Barber out-snapped Antone Smith 36-to-24 and saw 15 total touches compared to Smith’s eight. Barber appears to be the RB to own until Rodgers or Doug Martin is back from injury.
