The Cowboys have the NFL’s best record this season despite Rolando McClain not taking a single snap for the team. Now it appears the team will continue to have to live life without the middle linebacker on the field.
McClain is facing another suspension that could keep him out the rest of the year due to a missed drug test, a source informed told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
His previous 10-game suspension will end this upcoming Monday. Rapoport reported on Friday, however, that the Cowboys already were planning to keep McClain on the reserve/did not report list. In fact, the team doubts that McClain will come back to play in the NFL again following this latest step back.
The 27-year-old former first-round pick played the past two seasons in Dallas, following his first three campaigns in Oakland.
