The Patriots will be without their top offensive target for the remainder of the evening.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski went to the locker room late in the first quarter against the Jets with a back injury. He was ruled out in the third quarter.

Gronk finished with no catches on two deep targets.

Heading into Sunday’s contest, Gronk was among many Patriots listed as questionable to play. The tight end suffered a perforated lung against the Seahawks in Week 10.
