One of the biggest free agent catches of the offseason will see his first passes this season
Thomas had not taken a snap after suffering the hand injury early in the preseason and undergoing surgery on Sept. 1.
The thought heading into the weekend was that it might take the pass-caching tight end another week to hit the field, but after catching passes all week without a cast he’s good to go and won’t be restricted.
The 27-year-old signed a five-year, $46 million deal with the Jaguars in March after four seasons in Denver. Thomas had 24 touchdown receptions in his final two years with the Broncos, the most of any tight end in football.
Blake Bortles will welcome another dynamic target to his crew.
