“I don’t know,” O’Brien said. “I wouldn’t say it looks very good for him playing Sunday.”
The coach added Clowney would be a game-time decision.
Clowney returned last week after suffering a torn meniscus in his knee in Week 1, which forced the rookie to miss six games.
ESPN’s Tania Ganguli reported that Clowney is sick and his current status wasn’t a setback with his knee injury.
The outside linebacker had just one tackle in his return last Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. O’Brien wouldn’t go into detail on what could keep Clowney out this week, but said it’s a reality in the NFL that players miss games.
OB on being frustrated Clowney could miss another game: No it’s not frustrating at all. Nope, not one bit. It’s the National Football League
