Aaron Rodgers may get one of his top weapons back in time before an NFC playoff showdown against the Giants.

After being sidelined the last two games, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said wideout Randall Cobb (ankle) practiced on Wednesday.

McCarthy added that cornerback Quinten Rollins is doing well, but he’s still in concussion protocol.

Cobb also faced the Giants in his first career playoff game back in 2011, catching three balls for 38 yards in a 37-20 defeat.

Here are the other injuries we are tracking Wednesday:

1. Jason Pierre-Paul made an appearance at practice Wednesday, but didn’t participate. The Giants defensive end underwent sports hernia surgery in early December.

2. NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala reported Dolphins coach Adam Gase said on a conference call that the staff will decide later Wednesday if quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) will practice Thursday. Tannehill did not practice Wednesday, so backup Matt Moore is expected to start this week, barring something drastic.

3. NFL Network’s James Palmer reported that while Derek Carr‘s foot is in a boot and is using a push cart, the Raiders quarterback said “he feels great.” Rookie Connor Cook was named starting quarterback against the Texans Saturday with Carr recovering from a fractured fibula and Matt McGloin battling an injury to his trapezius muscle. Per NFL Network’s James Palmer, McGloin participated in the portion of practice open to media

4. Patriots wideout Danny Amendola (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday after a four-week absence. Quarterback Tom Brady (knee/thigh), wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell (knee) and cornerback Cyrus Jones (knee) all sat out.

5. Texans coach Bill O’Brien said Wednesday that quarterback Tom Savage is “still in the (concussion) protocol, so I would say he’d be out for the game.” The team later announced that Savage is out against the Raiders.

6. Steelers tight end Ladarius Green (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice.
